Naturopathic Nutritionist & Yoga Teacher
Jane teaches a gentle, yet deeply dynamic flow of traditional Hatha style yoga, working with the breath and within your own capability.
She currently works as Yoga Within and Happy on Health in Gozo, Malta on a freelance basis, working for retreats and private classes.
Within a concious approach to yoga posture practice, keeping stress off the joints as much as possible by using the whole body whilst flowing as effortlessly as possible thorough each asana and moving you eventually into a deep stillness.
Jane has been practising yoga for 20 years, with her studies the last 8 years mainly in Dynamic Yoga and meditation, taught by
Windfire Yoga - Godfrey Devereaux.
She also currently teaches at various retreats in Europe and in the UK and in Gozo with Health & Happiness Retreats, Amchara Health & Detox and Sunra Yoga Holidays
Jane is also qualified as a Reflexologist, Aromatherapist, Holistic Counsellor & Reiki Practitioner
A little taster........
Happy Cell Meditation – 5 minutes
Sitting comfortably, or laying down, making sure you are warm and relaxed
Bring your awareness into your breath
Felling the rise and fall of the breath within your body
Start to breath a little slower and deeper than you normally would
Feeling the inhalation with the new energy
And the exhalation letting go of the old stagnant energy
Start to visualize on the inhalation all the cells of your body receiving, new energy, light, health and positivity
And the exhalation releasing any toxins, stagnation and old energy you no longer need.
Staying with this for a few more minutes, really filling all the cells within your body with the new energy, light health and positivity
And on the exhalation releasing any toxins, stagnation and old energy your body no longer needs.
PAUSE for a few minutes and continue with the above
Slowly, start to bring the breath back to normal, with no rush and when you are ready, roll over on to one side and stay there for a few moments.
Again, slowly start to come up to sitting, take a few moments to check in with how you feel, feeling the new energy, light, health and positivity within all the cells in your body.
Take a big breath in through the nose and out through the mouth
Again, a big breath in through the nose and out through the mouth and
